Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate  (Olivem 1000) is a natural, PEG-free, non-ionic, self-emulsifying wax made from olive oil. It creates liquid crystal products and is suitable for oil-in-water (OW) formulations. In addition, it is 100% vegan, biodegradable, and hypoallergenic. Adding Xanthan Gum in the water phase enhances the stability of preparations containing Olivem 1000.
