Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate is an ester derived from plant-based Lauric Acid and Glycerin.  Like most polyglycerin-based high HLB emulsifiers, it is multifunctional.  It serves as an oil-in-water emulsifier,  as well as a cleansing agent and solubilizer in alcohol-free products. PGL-10 Laurate  is widely used in under-eye and facial cleansing products due to its ability to effectively remove dirt without drying the skin.  It  leaves a pleasant feel on the skin.
