It is more stable and water-soluble than HA and is less prone to oxidation. The effects of SH on the skin depend on the molecular weight. Low Molecular Weight (LMW) SH (10 and 200 Kilo Daltons) penetrates deep into the epidermis, yielding superior hydrating and skin-rejuvenating effects. It is ideal for very dry and mature skin.
