Polyglyceryl-6 Stearate is an ester of polyglycerin and stearic acid. It belongs to the high HLB emulsifiers and natural surfactants group of ingredients. As an emulsifier, it helps combine oil and water in high water content (oil-in-water) with excellent moisturizing properties. As a non-ionic surfactant, Polyglyceryl-6 Stearate has excellent cleansing properties. It is primarily used in color cosmetics.
